I Hear Babies Cry - I Watch Them Grow

What an amazing few weeks we've had!

There is so much to share, both in stories and in the 800+ photos we brought home with us from Florida. While I would prefer to share en mass, there is no way to do it but in themed installments.

First up is our visit with the Stanziones in sunny Tampa! We celebrated Thanksgiving, ate a delicious meal and watched football...but it was so much more than that. There was a quiet understanding that our time together was fleeting - but no visit is long enough, no time in between short enough, to span the distance between loved ones. We wish that they lived closer - a nice weekend trip would be great! - but find comfort and joy in the realization that we are all enjoying full and satisfying lives.

The highlight was getting to know our niece, Adriana. The last time that we saw her she was only 7 months old. Adriana has blossomed into an ebullient little girl with a saucy personality and quick wit. Everytime that I looked into her eyes - my husband's eyes - it was a breathtaking moment. Dominick's connection with her was subtle and inherent and beautiful.
Here are some photos of Adriana and our visit.
